The White Snail goes to Festival...

THE WHITE SNAIL was at the

A primary school this morning, where, about forty pupils joined in the activities that followed the reading.

The headteacher, Athena, was extremely helpful and provided us with a projector, so the kids had the opportunity to see a great number of pictures the writer had created -a lot more than those included in the story book.

Classes that attended the reading: Nursery, A and B (ages: 4-7)

After the reading the kids drew and painted snails on the photocopies the teachers distributed.

It was fun and will repeat it soon in another school!

Art Display in Corfu

EIKE (Corfiot painters union)
organises a group art display to celebrate carnival in Corfu.

Charity Art Display

Art Display to help a poor family at the Municipal Art Gallery at the old Palace.
The Corfiot painters' union will donate all the funds to a poor family in Corfu.
Low prices.

Art Gallery activity

The Art Gallery of Corfu (at the old palace) organizes a children's activity each saturday from 11-1 pm. The event involves story telling, drawing and theatre playing.
On the 4th December, 20 free copies of the children's book THE WHITE SNAIL will be given away to the young participants as a Christmas gift.

Brian, who is from UK, is a permanent resident of Corfu and an expert in watercolor. His latest art display took place at Art Cafe last month and was a great success.
